Power stations can take a while to charge. It’s not surprising, however. Given how huge their batteries are, it can take a while. However, if you’re sick of waiting hours for a power station to recharge, Anker’s new SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 might be the answer.
According to Anker, the SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 can go from empty to full in just 49 minutes. This is thanks to the company’s HyperFlash technology. The company claims this makes it the fastest-charging portable power station in its class, outpacing not only Anker’s first C1000 but pretty much every rival out there.
The C1000 Gen 2 isn’t just about charging speed, either. It delivers 2000W of power output with SurgePad support that pushes up to 3000W when needed. That’s enough to keep essentials like laptops, fridges, and even some power tools running during a blackout or camping trip. Anker also built it with an LFP (LiFePO4) battery rated for over 4,000 cycles. So, even after years of use, it should still hold most of its capacity. By that time, you might already be looking to upgrade.
Control and monitoring of the power station comes through the Anker app, which lets you check power levels, tweak settings, and even update firmware remotely. The design focuses on portability and durability, keeping noise low and output clean. This might be handy for van lifers, campers, and anyone who doesn’t want to annoy the neighbors when the lights go out.
The Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 is available for sign-up starting today. Early birds who register by September 8 will get it at an exclusive launch price of $429. After that, retail availability begins on September 8 at $799 on Amazon and Anker’s site.
