Samsung’s One UI 8 Beta Rolls Out for More Devices

A while back, Samsung announced that it was rolling out its One UI 8 software beta for select devices, which included its foldable lineup. Following this, it looks like the company is now expanding the beta program to more Galaxy models, in a handful of regions as well.


With that in mind, Samsung now says that the One UI 8 beta program will soon be available for the Galaxy S24 series, as well as the the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 starting next week in Korea, the United States, United Kingdom, and India. It will also be available in September for the the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, as well as several A-series phones including the A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G and A54.

Samsung promises that One UI 8 will come with better AI performance, which is not too surprising given the focus on generative AI in today’s mobile phone industry. Interested users can register for the beta program via the Samsung Members app.

In other Samsung news, the company also announced the roll-out of new Bixby AI features for several of its 2025-series smart TVs, which come with improvements to conversational and contextual understanding, search results, as well as ease of access.
