It was only 1 night then boom my back camera got pink dot when I was trying to take a picture in the next morning. I was freaking out and reaching out for help from Apple Support. The first support agent said that it might because of the software problem and I should update my device to the latest IOS. It didn’t work 😩 Then I made an appointment with Apple Care, the receptionist said it got damaged maybe from the laser or something, so the lens was broke!?!?!??!! Did not even ask the technician to check it first. Then she said that even with Warranty, I still have to replace it with an additional fee, also she said I shouldn’t take pictures in the Club or Concert or anywhere they have strong lights or Lasers. Since when I have to care so much while using my own Iphone???? I doubt about the sustainability of Apple Devices. I was thinking like ok maybe many people got this problem before, i agreed to replace a new lens cause there was no other options and they charged me around 200$ and I have to let them took my old lens. Otherwise it would be around 240$ for the replacement fee. What was that? I bought this 14 Promax 256GB Purple Model at somewhere around 1000$, andI purchased it since 2023, only 2 years later i have to pay 200$ and let them recall the old lens only with 40$ 🤡 which made this more ridiculous. Very good business Apple 👍🏻 soooo…I will use this phone until it very last breath, will not upgrade to new version anymore, I am frustrated they even asked me to rate 5 star for their services 😤 Anyone got same problem? submitted by /u/emsoodethuonq |
