Forbidden West is incredibly immersive with no music

First off I love the music of the game and beat it years ago. I recently started my first NG+ and got pulled back in all over again.

I wanted to do something different for run 2 so I decided to play HUD-less, no music, no fast travel & all icons off the map.

Though I do leave the manual icon that you can pin point to create a marker to navigate in-game.

It has turned out to be an incredibly immersive gaming experience. Moreso than I thought it would. Would highly recommend trying it.

I've noticed more of the stellar sound effect design of the world. The 3D audio really makes it pop. Dodging an attack by sound alone just feels cool.

All that on top of the graphics, story & acting (RIP Lance Reddick) combine to make hours pass like minutes in a way the first run didn't.

I'm really looking forward to Horizon 3 built for the PS5 from the ground up.
