We are into week ten of the league and here in the back half of March we are about 20% done with the year. Time flies when everything is chaos I guess.
Fantasy Critic League – Like Fantasy Football, but for Video Games
Week nine ended up with the following standings.

The standings for Week 9
Now to look at what happened in week ten and where things ended up.
We had two releases expected last week, Wanderstop and WWE 2K25, which dropped on Tuesday and Friday respectively. Wanderstop landed with a score and stayed there.
- Wanderstop
- [Picked by Frabjous Day Enterprises (Archey)]
- Now has a score of 79.2
Meanwhile WWE 2K25, which already had enough early reviews to have a score, saw its score move down a bit as more reviews came in.
- WWE 2K25
- [Picked by Rusty Shackleford (Shilgrod)]
- Score has gone DOWN from 84.8 to 83.4
- WWE 2K25
- [Picked by Rusty Shackleford (Shilgrod)]
- Score has gone DOWN from 84.2 to 83.1
Still a solid score. That left the scoreboard looking like this at the end of week ten.

The Standings for Week 10
Potshot held on to first place, while Archey’s third title on the board put him in second, pushing the rest of us down.
As of now, only Bhagpuss has not had a title release so he remains the only one without a score so far.
Coming up on the release list next week it looks like there will be three launches.

Coming up for Week 11
Bhagpuss will need to wait another week for a first score, but at least one of the titles coming up already has enough reviews to have a preview score.
- Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land
- [Picked by Crash and Burn Games (Shawn)]
- Now has a score of 77.9
- Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land
- [Picked by Crash and Burn Games (Shawn)]
- Score has gone UP from 77.9 to 79.7
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be an interesting one, as that title has been counter picked, so has influence on both Rusty’s and Arhanta’s scores. My own opinion is that there is nothing that UbiSoft cannot screw up, but even in that world the AC series has been pretty solid. It could be another Assassin’s Creed Memories, the low ebb of the series so far. But that was also an iOS title, so maybe shouldn’t count. We shall see.
Finally, we got a release date nailed down for another title.
- Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
- [Picked by Rodent Entertainment (Arhanta)]
- Release date changed from ‘2025’ to ‘Thursday, June 26, 2025’.
